Ministry Agreements

As a member of a volunteer ministry at Unity Church of
Greater Hartford:
- I agree to teach myself that
I am divine by treating everyone I serve with – and everyone I serve – as
the divine being they are.
- I agree to have a written
purpose and at least 5 goals for how I want my life to improve and ways I
want to grow this next year.
- I agree to be responsible for
receiving what I want to receive through my participation.
- I agree to keep all
agreements I make regarding time.
- I agree to replace myself
(with help from the appropriate person) if I am unable to perform my
tasks.
- I agree to include Unity
Church of Greater Hartford in my prayer life and in my monthly financial
planning.
- I agree to use my relationships
with everyone here for my own healing by acknowledging my oneness with
them and seeing them as my mirror.
- I agree that if I am upset
with anyone here, I will ask myself, “What part of me am I upset with?” If
I have difficulty with this, I will ask my minister for help.
- I agree that I will speak
only with constructive purpose about the church and its people. I agree to talk to people rather than about people.
- I agree to ask for help if I
do not feel clear about some aspect of my participation.
- I agree to contribute my good
ideas, and especially…
- I agree to have fun!
