QiGong 08:00 AM-All are welcome. Qi is the life force energy & gong means working to improve. Qigong is the basic healing practice from China. The physical body needs Chi (bioelectric energy) to function fully. That life giving energy can be blocked by stress, thoughts, emotions and trauma. The flow of energy is enhanced when we relax, breathe deeply, clear the mind and move gently. When the energy flows smoothly, the body heals. Class fee: $5. The class is lead by Beth Hugh who has practiced and taught Qigong, Tai Chi Chuan, and Reike for more than 20 years.

Rev. Ed Townley will lead a four-week discussion class at Unity Church of Greater Hartford, beginning Aug 4 and concluding on Aug 25, from 7-9 pm.
