Experts ranging from estate jewelry, furniture to quilts will be ready to tell you the history and value of you treasures. You will have the opportunity to sell you treasure to someone who has beeen looking for just that item. Jessica Snider of Channnel 3 News will MC and our experts will show case some of the evenings trash and treasures. We will have a chair caning professional and a furniture restoration professional who can repair or restore your valuables pieces and much more. Come hungry and enjoy a dinner pooled by 4 of the areas finest.... Little Taste of Texas, Harvest Bakery, Shady Glen and Panera Bread. Proceeds will go to Mahila's Children for cleft palate operations in Nepal.

Instructor: Suzanne Feuerbach, Reiki Master/Teacher First-degree students will experience traditional teaching of the Usui System of Reiki Healing. Learning this simple hands-on art includes: four initiations which make the healing energy available, hand placements for treating ourselves and others, and practice to integrate the skills. No prior training is necessary. Class size is limited. The First Degree Reiki fee is included in the total cost. Class size is limited. Cost $165

No. CT Vegetarian Society05:00 PM-NCVS Potluck...with Rynn Berry. Rynn will speak on Ethical Vegetarianism and Non-violence in the World Religions. Learn the fascinating history of the crucial role non-violence and vegetarianism has played in the beliefs of influential sects including Jains, Essenes, Gnostics, Cathars, Bible Christians, and Seventh Day Adventists. At the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia, he specialized in ancient history and comparative religion. Rynn is the coauthor of the annual vegan guide to New York City, the first of its kind in the country. Recently, Rynn was commissioned to write on vegetarianism for The Oxford Companion To Food And Drink In America (2007). Please bring a healthy VEGAN dish, with a list of ingredients, and your own place setting (plate, cup, utensils).

The Contemplative Life08:30 AM-Join us before Sunday service this Spring and experience the morning hours with the enlightening words of Joel Goldsmith internationally known spiritual writer and leading mystic of the 20th century. The universal principles described in his insightful teachings will embrace those seeking to bring the awareness of God into everday living. Each chapter of 'The Contemplative Life' guides the seeker to find inner joy, peace and to live in the 'here and now". The book will be available for purchase in the Unity bookstore.
