Unity Choir
Under the expert direction of Laural Workman, Music Director, our Unity Choir sings beautiful, inspirational, upbeat songs that lifts the Spirit. Our music comes from the heart and we know from your encouraging words that our music also touches your heart.
Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm. If you can't be here on Wednesday, come at 9:00 am on Sunday morning to go over the music for that day. You don't need to be a professional musician to participate. The love and joy in your heart will shine through your voice. If you would like more information please email music@unityhartford.com
Message from Laural -
The choir continues to grow with the addition of new members and returnung members. We have a goal of 4 or 5 regular singers on each part (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass) and we are almost there! We have created the beautiful stoles and robes you see each week.
We do still need, however, a few more members. There are two ways to participate: Wednesday night rehearsal OR Sunday morning 9:00 AM rehearsal. I have cd's of all the music we plan to do and can get a cd to you at any time. Some members only sing with us once a month or so and that is another way to participate. If you have any interest please call me and we can discuss how to make choir participation work for you!
Lastly--are there any instrumentalists out there who would be willing to share of their time and talents with the music program? Do you play drums, guitar, flute, violin, anything??? We are wanting to expand the scope of the music we do and would love to involve instrumentalists. Again, call or email me and I'm sure we can make participation in the music program work for you.
